Things go from poor to poorest in this set of reference heatsinks for the Bitspower NP60D. Despite a moderately powerful fan, and moderate sized heatsink base with that spiffy skiving, there isn't much the NP60D can do to stem the overheating.

The most likely cause of the poor performance is the thick curved fins. Be it the number and thickness, or curvature, not enough heat can be removed to keep the NP60D operating in acceptable levels on processors of today's class.

Ultimately, the NP60D is nothing more than an average OEM class heatsink. What more really needs to be said?
