Information on Frostytech's test methodology is available here.

The Heatsink Fan:
The Auras SLC-747's 95x95x25mm PWM fan spins at a speed of 700-2400RPM when controlled by the computer's BIOS, producing as much as 52 dBA according to real world sound measurements. The fan draws power from a standard 4-pin PWM fan header and is backwards compatible with 3-pin fan headers. The fan is not internally illuminated.

Heatsink Frame
With the fan removed from the Auras SLC-747 heatsink, the construction of it's fins and heatpipes is clearly visible. The four 6mm diameter heatpipes conduct as much heat as possible from the base to the outer fins. Each aluminum fin is 0.3mm thin, spaced 1.23mm apart. The two outer heatpipes overlap areas which generally get the most airflow from the fan. This style is very similar to several heatsinks produced by Zalman and Akasa.

Heatsink Side A:
From the side we can see copper heatpipes within he Auras SLC-747 heatsink looping around from the base to the fins. The copper heatpipes reach out from the base where they are tightly packed side-by-side, and spread out through the body of the cooling fins to evenly distribute the heat. The joints between the copper heatpipes and aluminum fins do not appear to have any thermal joint enhancing compounds applied, and are not soldered.

Heatsink Side B:
The Auras SLC-747 heatsink comes with two special metal brackets that screw into the base for either Intel or AMD heatsinks. The Intel clip uses standard Intel push-to-click plastic retention feet, the AMD version locks onto the central lug of the heatsink retention frame on either AM2/939 models. Each aluminum fin in profile measures roughly 105mm across, 38mm tall. The copper heatpipes are 6mm in diameter and marked "YC71E-1 / YC71B-1."

Heatsink Side C:
The body of the Auras SLC-747 heatsink stands ~45mm tall, and the heatsink has an overall height of 69mm. The copper base appears to be ~6mm thick, and it is soldered to each of the copper heatpipes. Note how the 95mm fan has big vents cut into the side of it around the impeller.

Heatsink Base:
The base of the Auras SLC-747 heatsink has a machined and polished finish which is perfectly flat in both axis. The copper base plate measures 36x36mm in size. Surface roughness is equivalent to ~16 microinches, which is considered excellent. The four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes are soldered to the base, but there are only compression joints between the heatpipes and the aluminum fins. The two mounting brackets attach to the base via the four screw holes which you can see ringing the copper mounting block.
