Again we are see middle of the road performance surprisingly close to that of Intel's stock heatsink. Despite the fact that the Intel heatsink is much larger, and much quieter, Dynatron have managed to keep the thermal characteristics pretty much in check.

So this seems to indicate that the Dynatron DC1207BMW is not going to be winning any awards for performance cooling, and by the same tolken, isn't going to be relegated to the scrap heap for poor performance. Let's look at the rise above ambient temps to see where things really stand.

Well just as we thought, the Dynatron DC1207BMW is a steady performer, but doesn't offer any leap or bound above the stock Intel heatsink. With that in mind I would say that the model W is good for typical systems, but not designed to cope with environments where added cooling is really needed.

The simple design of an extruded heatsink hasn't been changed much with the DC1207BMW although I suppose the fins are closer together than we are generally accustomed to seeing. Still, the heatsink is able to match performance quite closely with that of the stock Intel heatsink, and that isn't half bad by itself. What more can you really say, not a performance heatsink, but full of acceptable performance!
