Abstract: Compared to the multitude of thin-fin copper coolers entering the marketplace a 0.5mm thick-fin aluminum/copper hybrid cooler looks surprisingly unique.

This is a loud fan and it also seemed be slightly out of balance as there was noticeable vibration. The pressure from the clip is quite strong so the effect on our test rig was noticeably louder than we expected.

Looking at the waveform it is easy to see that this isn't one of the quietest heatsinks available, but then again, quiet fans rarely lead to better thermal performance.

Of the reference coolers in this list, the Fortis Tech A92 comes in dead last, and with markedly higher thermal temperatures. At almost a 100C on the small interface die this heatsink shows its limitations in leaps and bounds. Performance on the larger interface die is substantially better so I would have to recommend that this cooler be used for those types of processors only.
