Performance is very good for a relatively unknown heatsink such as the Coolink U1P2, but as we have seen that performance comes at a pretty high sound penalty. Both Thermalright heatsinks suffer the same fate incidently - loud fans make them almost impractical for home computer systems these days even though the thermal results are very lucrative.

In the end, the Coolink U1P2 from XTwerkz.com performed admirably. The heatsink came in under the 40 degree mark and that is not something very many heatsinks have done on the 100W small interface die test.

All in all, the Coolink U1P2 is a somewhat ugly heatsink that performs really well. What it lacks in appearance it more than makes up for thermally, that is if you can accept the loud noise of the fans and longer than average width of the heatsink. The stepped shape guarantees 25mm of clearance so on board items like capacitors and other devices will not get in the way of installation.
