Information on Frostytech's test methodology is available here.

The 95mm PWM fan spins at 2600RPM by default. Small wire clips hold the fan in place, so it is possible to replace the unit with any 80mm unit. A standard 4-pin PWM motherboard header provides power, and is backwards compatible with 3pin connectors. The aluminum fins measure 0.36mm thick and are spaced 1.4mm apart.

Two sintered wick heatpipes (6mm diameter) thread their way from the aluminum base block towards the outer edges of the Thermolab Micro Silencer TLI-S heatsink. The base block is 7mm thick, the entire heatsink stands just 58mm tall. From the side we can see the 5-7mm wide plenum below the fan.

The base of the Thermolab Micro Silencer TLI-S comes with a pre-applied patch of thermal interface material, and measures 32x30.5mm in size. The two LGA775 mounting clips are firmly attached to the frame of the heatsink.
