Information on Frostytech's test methodology is available here.

The 92mm PWM fan spins at 500-2200RPM and draws power from a standard 4-pin PWM motherboard fan header. It is backwards compatible with 3-pin connectors. The aluminum fins are 0.9mm thick, and spaced 1.8mm apart.

From the side you can see how simple the Alpine 7 Pro heatsink is. The cooler stands 84mm tall, the straight flat aluminum fins make up 52mm of that height. The base of the heatsink measures 10mm thick over the CPU, and thins out to 5mm at the edges. The heatsink uses standard Intel retention clips that lock into the motherboard.

The base of the Arctic Cooling Alpine 7 Pro heatsink is 52x35mm in size, and comes with a pre-applied patch of thermal compound applied. The LGA775 mounting brackets are held in place with screws, no AMD K8 brackets are included with this model however.
