"Philips, although one of the largest electronics companies in the world, is still perceived as a relative newcomer to the PC peripheral scene. Philips currently makes monitors, speakers, CDRWs and other products, but this will be their first big foray into PC sound cards. This new line of cards encompasses a low, medium, and high level of performance, and we received their high-end card, the PSC706 Acoustic Edge. The medium level, the PSC704 Seismic Edge, is a 4-channel card, suitable for all four-speaker gaming setups. The low-end card is the PSC702 Rhythmic Edge, which is for a straight stereo setup. The cards cost $99, $79, and $49, respectively."
