"Also of importance to overclockers is that the capacitors around the cpu socket are place far enough away to fit oversized heat sinks. I could easily have fit my Alpha heatsink on the processor if I had need to, but I was a little timid with the heatsinks after my first experience. More on that later. VIA Hardware received the basic KV200 which is different from the KV200-R in that we did not have RAID capabilities. As a result there are only 2 IDE slots on the board instead of the four that come on the KV200-R."
