"Well Saitek has gone and done it again, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, they made a good stick ever better. Enter the Cyborg 3D USB Gold joystick. At a glance this stick looks just like the Cyborg 3D Digital USB, but this stick has a fancier looking exterior due to the polished gold metal-looking shaft and the wording "Cyborg 3D USB Gold" etched on it. Aside from that the functionality of the stick is the same. On the stick you'll find 8 buttons, one of which is a unique trigger mechanism, that just feels great to use, and two shift buttons on the base. Additionally the stick features a nice 8-way hat switch, which is positioned right in the middle of the head of the stick. Also the original Cyborg 3D USB wasn't programmable, but this new Gold edition uses the excellent Saitek Gaming Extensions (SGE) programming interface to program the entire stick (even axes swapping), and with SGE you can even download new profiles for many of your favorite titles right from the Saitek website."
