Global Win FKP32 - FrostyTech.com Global Win FKP32
Fri Feb 18, 2000 | 11:16A| PermaLink
Hard OCP do a review of the new Global Win FKP32 - is alpha shking over this one.... Looks kinna snazy, with a raised bit of fin, and the usual good Global Win fans that everyone seems to love. Here is a clip:

Here are the boys, of course the GW FKP32 in the lower right corner, the now "old school" GW CM25603-32 (this has been an awesome cooler for a while now, thanks to Azzo for loading us up with these), and of course the reigning champ, the Alpha 6035. From the old GW to this newest, you will see a prominent change in fin design. More fins in the same space and no screws this time round. Got little clips that hold the fan on, kinda odd, but not a big deal. The biggest change on this design is the fact that the width of the fins are wider for better heat dissipation also, but they do NOT drop all the way to the bottom of the heatsink. Instead there is sort of a cutaway groove at the bottom. Guess they are shooting for this to help keep the FKP32 out of the way of some of the hardware it will be mounted on. Although we don't see any benefit from this on our setup, it certainly is welcome, I am sure it will help some of the peeps out.
