"The DMX sound card posses the very powerful ESS Canyon3D chip, which is also
featured on the Diamond MX400. The Canyon3D chip has many features that challenges
a Sound Blaster Live, one being it has outstanding API support. With Sensaura
technology, the DMX has covered A3D 1.0, DS3D, MarcoFX and EAX. Perhaps the better
API with the DMX is EAX, which sounds absolutely amazing in half life with just
2 speakers, let alone 4"
