GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and other computing hardware solutions today announced a new overclocking competition in conjunction with called the Best 3D Overclocker Contest.

Ever feel like the world just doesn’t appreciate your greatness? Do you feel you have what it takes to be the next Paris Hilton®™ of the overclocking community (minus the arrests and small dog accessories)? Here’s your chance to grab your 15 minutes of fame. GIGABYTE and HWBOT are looking for the world’s best 3D overclocker. Throughout the month of September and October, using any GIGABYTE motherboard, submit your best Unigine Heaven (typical settings) scores to HWBOT. The contest is split into 4 stages: 1x GPU, 2x GPU, 3x GPU and 4x GPU. Points for the highest scores will be awarded, and the overclocker with the most points wins.

The champion will receive a custom banner with the winner’s photo and nickname on the GIGABYTE motherboard home page ( ), proving to all the world you are a GIGABYTE overclocking celebrity.
