"Since becoming a consultant I always make my proposals with the hardware, software and services broken out separately to insure that the customer is aware of the true costs of a solution. The only question I usually get is about why the Linux solution can accomplish the same tasks as the Windows NT solution with about half the horsepower. It is fun explaining that fact."
