Japanese heatsink maker Scythe has a new heatsink for the domestic market called the Scythe Rasetsu (SCRT-1000). From the outside it looks like a standard Scythe cooler... but upon closer inspection the unique fin geometry becomes apparent. The Scythe Rasetsu stands 130x130x141mm in size, comes with a 120mm fan that rotates at 740-1900RPM and weighs 730grams. The technology is called 'Trident Multi Layer Fin Structure', according to Scythe engineers this triangular pattern absorbs the maximum amount of air compared to the standard 'brick wall' approach.
