Taiwan jobless rate remains high in April

Taiwan's unemployment rate edged down to 5.76% in April from 5.81% in March, according to statistics published by the government's Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS). The jobless rate still remained high, compared to 3.81% recorded in April 2008.
