Corsair H50 CPU Cooler Review - FrostyTech.com Corsair H50 CPU Cooler Review
Sat Jun 19, 2010 | 12:01P| PermaLink
"The Hydro 50 is the result of a joint effort between Asetek and Corsair. Those who have previously experienced building custom water cooling setups will no doubt be familiar with Asetek's offering, They have also been behind more exotic products such as VapoChill in the past and as such, they have a rich heritage of delivering enthusiast level products. However, since their focus was shifted to the OEM market, their name became less well known amongst casual users. In order to leverage their expertise to the consumer market, they teamed up with Corsair who already had a very strong global channel and loyal consumer base. Some could say it was a marriage made in heaven! Combining Asetek's latest cold plate technology and radiator with Corsair's brand name, we now have the H50. Corsair's attention to detail and demand for best performance also means that further improvements were made to the cooler to exceed expectations. This is hopefully what we will see today."

XFX GeForce 275 GTX 896MB DDR3 Core Edition GX 275X-AHFF Review - FrostyTech.com XFX GeForce 275 GTX 896MB DDR3 Core Edition GX 275X-AHFF Review
Wed Jul 22, 2009 | 4:00P| PermaLink
From a performance point of view the GeForce GTX 275 from XFX performs exactly as specified from a standard GeForce GTX 275 card. The card outperforms the Radeon HD 4890 in a number of the applications as well in a head to head comparison. The inclusion of Far Cry 2, adds to the value of the card as most video cards do not come with a game. If you buy the card from Newegg you also get a copy of Call of Duty World at War. Two games will give you plenty of play time in full DirectX 10.0 beauty as Far Cry 2 uses DX10.0 Pixel Shaders throughout the game. PhysX games will look and play like nothing else with the GeForce series as the cards from ATI do not support it.
