"The layout of the board is fairly common. It has 1 AGP slot capable of 4x, 6 PCI slots one shared with an CNR (Communication Networking Riser) slot, 0 ISA slots. If you are still using ISA, you need to upgrade. The first thing we noticed about this board when we pulled it from it's wrapper, was the huge capacitors near the socket A. These bad boys are huge. I'm told they are 3300uf, if that means anything to you. I can just say they are tall. We were a little concerned that they might interfere with the heatsink. So far, the heatsinks that we have tried have not been close to having this problem. It has 3 memory slots supporting up to 1.5gig of RAM and the IDE controllers support ATA 33/66. Another thing that struck us oddly was the chipset itself was rotated 45?. I have not found any information on a reasoning behind this. I did read another review, by BXboards, that stated it was for shorter data lines between the chipset and the CPU/DIMM lines."
