Frostytech has an EXCLUSIVE first look at a new heatsink fin geometry from the Korean heatsink manufacturer, Coolage. The new and just introduced Coolage X120TF heatsink uses honeycomb shaped fins to straighten out airflow as it passes through a large 6-heatpipe equipped tower. I can't say anything about the preliminary test results just yet... but the Prolimatech Megahalems may have strong competitor on its heals.

Thermal resistance is pegged at a very low 0.1 C/W, the Coolage X120TF heatsink weighs 750 grams, stands 150mm tall and relies upon six, 6mm diameter nickel plated copper heatpipes. The heatsink is compatible with socket 775/1366 and the full range of AMD sockets (939-to-AM3)

We're excited to see just what kind of performance the Coolage Frozen Orb X120 Transform is going to reveal... stay tuned to Frostytech for the full review.
