Here is a snippet from the folks at TweakTown..."Aureal, with its Vortex and Vortex2 Sound Processors are the brains be hind many of today's PCI sound cards, including the Diamond Monster Sound. Recently, Aureal has begun selling its own cards, and the Vortex2 SQ2500 is the highest specced model at this time, due to be superseded by the SQ3500 later this year."
