"However, the level 2 cache is still only 128KB, the default FSB for the Celeron 566 (all Celerons) is still only 66Mhz. Pentium III's use 100 or 133Mhz FSB. Additionally the Celeron 566, only uses a 1.5V core voltage, the PIII Coppermine use between 1.6V and 1.7V. The smaller transistor count on the Celeron 566 (has half the cache of the PIII Coppermine,) is probably the reason behind the lower voltage requirement. Intel has also integrated the SSE SIMD instruction set into these new Celerons, the SSE SIMD instructions aid in floating point intensive tasks (such as streaming video, audio, and games)."
