It's been awhile since Alpha released a new consumer heatsink (Frostytech's reviewed many Alpha heatsinks here), so today was exciting to learn about the PRN9055 heatsink for socket 1366 Intel Core i7 processors. The Alpha PRN9055 weighs 846 grams, accommodates one 80mm fan, and is made from forged AL6063 aluminum and C1100 copper. According to the blueprints, the PRN9055 uses round aluminum pin fins, stands 56mm tall and 90mm square.
