Xigmatek Northbridge Heatsink Exposed - Xigmatek Northbridge Heatsink Exposed
Fri Aug 01, 2008 | 6:24P| PermaLink
The Northbridge chipset controls the data transfer to the CPU, RAM, and video card. If the Northbridge chipset overheats, the system will be very unstable and may crash randomly. In order to reduce the problem of overheating on the Northbridge chipset, upgrades are necessary for the thermal solution on top of the chipset. XIGMATEK Technology recently released a new heatsink specifically made for the Northbridge chipset. The Hybrid Cooler with 1 heat-pipe as H.D.T construction of the heatsink has the best thermal efficiency on the market. With a low-noise or even passive, based on the NB Chipset your main board is using. The DIY computer enthusiasts will be able to decorate their system with this new unit and enjoy fully cooling performance with our already tested and proofed H.D.T Technology. Also combined are our patented Anti-Vibration-Rubbers, Fan is optional. Users can decide their selves. The Porter heatsink utilizes an H.D.T construction with Xigmatek’s precision technology, bonding the copper heat-pipe and the Aluminium base with H.D.T, and the fins seamlessly. The thermal efficiency is maximized as the bonds are made seamlessly through our precision soldering methods. Porter supports an 80 x 80 x 25mm (optional) silent fan with demanding your needs.

Different from the current market Northbridge heat sinks, Porter utilizes a universal mechanism, including the mounting holes and anchor clip design. Gamers and enthusiasts with all platforms will be able to use the Porter in their computer system without much trouble by the installation. Last but not least, Porter is adjustable, thus the user can aim and direct Porter into the optimal position.

FEATURES: - H.D.T. (Heat-pipe direct touch) technology. - Special fin shape design - High performance heat-pipe. - Light weight. - Anti-vibration rubber design for fan (Optional) - Easy installation.
