"Long-time readers of Gamers Depot will know that MidiLand has made some of the nicer PC speaker offerings around: with their latest 4060M system, they look to once again bring a quality system to the average "Joe" at a reasonable cost. MidiLand has proven time and time again that they know how to make great speaker systems. Ever since they won our "Speakers of the Year" award back in 1998 for their S2-4100s, they have continued to make speakers of great quality, and at competitive prices.
The 4060M is the same system as the 4060S, with the addition of a metallic finish that, in my opinion, does make them look much nicer than the typical off-white/beige color that plagues so many of their peers. Powered by an internal 60 Watt amplifier, the 4060M is a 4 piece system that is controlled by a modular control box that you can either mount in an empty 5" bay, or simply mount it above or below your desk with the included Velcro strips."
