"I remember getting into the overclocking scene a few years past; It was
only a couple months after the celeron's debuted and I knew I just had to
have one. After all, the 300A was able to make it to 464mhz most of the time
and that was one heck of a step up from my little ol' Pentium 200MMX. They
were cheap, they were thrifty and offered just enough performance to be
considered a good processor. AMD was still producing the K6-2 series, which
to be honest, didn't really appeal much to me at the time. Yes sir, like
most of the overclockers out there, I started with the Celeron 300A."
