"Now let's see what happens in reality. For a test bed, the EZ Connect was networked via Cat5 cable to a 5-Port 10/100Mb DSS-5+ Switch. The machine on the other end is using a 10/100Mb DFE-530TX+ Ethernet Adapter set at 100Mbps Full Duplex. I copied 358 jpeg images totaling 34,198,197 bytes across the network and it took 79 seconds to complete. That breaks down to 3.463Mbps using the EZ Connect USB Adapter. For comparison, I copied the same files replacing the USB adapter with another 10/100Mb DFE-530TX+ Ethernet Adapter and it took 21 seconds to complete, which equals 13.028Mbps."
