RIO 600 MP3 player - FrostyTech.com RIO 600 MP3 player
Mon Dec 18, 2000 | 10:22A| PermaLink
"I WANT MY, I WANT MY, I WANT MY MP3!" Ok, so that's not exactly how the old Dire Straits song goes... But everyone wants MP3, that's for sure! There are even a few of you who want to take WMA audio along with you as well! Newest in Rio's stable of players, is their new RIO PMP 600 player. We take a look at this solid state wonder, and see if it's worthy enough to sit under your tree. Wouldn't something like this be NICE to find under the Christmas tree (and no, not the girl on the box....but that WOULD be nice too)? Digital audio players are a growing category, that is just on the verge of going mainstream. Diamond's first RIO player practically invented the category. Through it's acquisition by S3, and S3's name-change to Sonicblue, Diamond's Rio line of audio players have now become the flagship product for the company."
