Microsoft has been making hardware since they introduced their first mouse back in 1982. At the time, so the story goes, they were trying to increase the acceptability of mice for the PC by creating a quality mouse that was also inexpensive to increase sales of MS Word. The mouse was nicknamed the "Green Eyed Mouse" because of its two large green buttons. Now, all this time later, Microsoft makes a complete line of keyboards, mice, trackballs and game controllers so it seems logical that they should move into the field of voice recognition and produce the Sidewinder Game Voice (SGV).
