The K7T Pro2 follows along with it's family lineage in most every aspect of it's design and layout. The first thing you're likely to notice upon first glance of the Pro2, is it's half cocked NorthBridge chipset. Apparently this is supposed to shorten the length of the traces between the chipset, and whatever it connects too. To be perfectly honest with you, I have no idea what exactly it connects to. I'm sure it's something important though. In any event, this is supposed to enhance stability. Something that you would think would lead to better overclocking. At least better then some of it's competitors. Well, that's what you'd think.... We'll talk more about that later though. One nice little touch of effort was the included blob of thermal goop. Sure, it was of insuffiecient quantity. But at least they made an effort, which is much more then we can say for a few other OEM's.
