"Several articles have, in their own way, contributed to the FUD surrounding Mac OS X. The "non-Mac" press is generally more receptive and enthused about the "new" Mac OS than the actual Mac faithful. One writer "kvetches" about the state of development of Darwin and how it's not quite as open source as it should be, and that there are non-Apple employees doing the right thing but that the "list of Stuff That Needs Doing" remains a long one."
