The recent explosion of Star Trek titles in the gaming universe included one house that isn't normally associated with action gameplay: Simon & Schuster Interactive, most noted for their work with the Star Trek: The Next Generation Interactive Technical Manual, managed to get rights to do Deep Space Nine-based games. While this series has seen one game before, the Myst-like title Deep Space Nine: Harbinger, S&S set out to make a major, heavy duty title using the Unreal engine. For the most part they succeeded, making a game that's great in terms of storyline and gameplay but with a few accuracy holes that will make Trekkers shudder.
