I'm a big fan of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. I play it all the time on my buddies PlayStation. When I learned that there was going to be a PC port for it, I nearly wet my pants. When the game got released, I bought it and hurried home to play it. Even though the graphics were better than the PlayStation version by far, the game was very...Umm.lacking.
Mind you it wasn't the games fault. After all, playing THPS2 with a keyboard is nothing short of an unsatisfying experience. The truth is that to enjoy arcade style games, or rather ports of Console games, you have to use a joypad. It may not seem like much, but a joypad will make a port seem, well.a better port . It definitely makes the gaming experience more realistic and fun. There is a whole slew of gamepads out there, but the new Logitech WingMan Rumble Pad intrigued me.
