"Although WFP is enabled by default in Windows 2000, you can use it yourself
if you wish too. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories then Command Prompt.
To use WFP (although it's called Windows File Checker when loaded from the
Command Prompt) type in SFC & hit Enter. Multiple command lines available to
use & they are as follows (NOTE - The remaining Command lines will be listed
in their appropriate section in the remainder of this guide), to use these
simply entering in SFC /COMMAND, where COMMAND is the appropriate Command
line. NOTE - Where appropriate I've listed the registry settings that can be
used with the same effect using the command line version."
