"To a beginner that quickly becomes an enthusiast, Moviestar will become quickly outdated. They might see themselves wanting to spend $500 on Adobe Premier to meet their editing desires. This is where I encountered another problem. I own Premier and intended to only use the DVC2's hardware rather than the beginner software. When I attempted to configure Premier to use the Dazzle video card, I encountered an "in use by another program" error. This may have been an error in my own computer or in Premier itself, but it was another obstacle. I now had to use Moviestar to import my clips, save them to disk, and then import them into Premier."
