Two new heatsinks have come out of Aopen's labs this week, the AC48SH and the AC48L. The AC48SH is a low noise cooler designed to work with socket 478 and socket 754/949 processors with a fan that ranges from 18-4800 RPM, producing as little as 25 dBA. The heatsink is essentially a beefed up version of the thermal solution used in several AOpen SFF barebones systems.Next in line is the AC48L, which Frostytech saw first hand at Computex 2004; it works on the same sockets as the previous cooler, but features a larger fan, 24 dBA sound rating, and bigger footprint.
