PDA's. We've touched on these a few times here at The Tech Zone. The Palm OS dominates the playing field, and arguably one Palm OS compatible manufacturer has done the best job at bringing these to the mainstream, that being Handspring. Today we take a "newbie's" first look at a new model from Handspring, the Visor Prism.
If you're a regular reader of our site, then perhaps you remember Moto's outing late last year to the "land of Microsoft", in The Tech Zone vs. Microsoft. Moto's little impromptu trip, interestingly enough, had been predicated by Mat Cauthon's article, The Palm Buyer's Guide just a month earlier. It's clear with all of us living in "internet time" these days, that we all have more information at our fingertips. PDA's are the attempt to give us mobile access to all of this information in a meaningful way, and to give us more flexibility in dealing with that information than we have with the good ol' paper-and-pen approach.
