"There were many things that impressed me about the layout of the Epox
8KTA3. The presence of a heatsink and fan on the chipset northbridge was
appreciated from an overclocker's point of view. It was just one less thing
to worry about as far as heat considerations are concerned and saves the end
user on purchasing their own heatsink to place on the chipset. Another thing
I liked was the improved placement of the capacitors which were moved back
about ¼" from the CPU socket. This allows the use of most larger heatsinks,
like the ThermalTake SuperOrb or Chrome Orb. The expansion slot layout is a
somewhat standard 1-AGP/6-PCI/1-ISA arrangement. At least Epox didn't
include one of those useless AMR slots. Yay Epox!"
