After introducing Pentium III processor to the market, Intel adds another fresh blood to its high-end processors_| Pentium 4 which also includes many innovative features into the architecture of this new microprocessor. In addition to the super computation speed, it also gives consideration to the compatibility of all application, present and the future. Pentium 4 processor is indeed the best performing processor for desktop computers in the new century. After Intel_fs announcement of Pentium 4 processors, the professional Motherboard manufacturer, DFI, tailors a WT70 motherboard for this new processor. WT70 motherboard adopts the newest Socket423 specification and supports 1.3~1.5 GHz Pentium 4 processor and runs 400MHz System Bus. It adds ATX 12V power supply design to support the speed of 1.5 GHz and up, and provides a brand new Intel NetBurst architecture to enhance the floating point computation and multimedia. It is expected to have a small-scale production in March, which will certainly detonate a shock to Intel high-end product users once again.
