Abit's first real motherboard hit was with the BX chipset on the Pentium II. The BH6 was released in the summer of '98 as Abit's follow-up to their BX6, their previous BX-based motherboard. The BH6 turned out to be wildly popular with it's incredible Softmenu II BIOS and great configuration. This is the board that really launched Abit to the next level.
