As a result, we are left in the unexpected situation of ATI offering the
most feature- packed card on the market - all the GF2-based products, while
running at higher speeds with a few tweaks here and there, are fundamentally
based upon the original GeForce (NV10) core, first seen almost 18 months
ago. Obviously nVidia, the hulking corporate behemoth bent on total industry
domination that it is, cannot allow such a situation to persist. Cue the
NV20.
