So, you finally got your tax return in the mail, and you've got a load of cash burning a hole in your pocket. You've decided it's high time you equipped your computer with arguably the fastest CPU on earth, the Pentium 4. For some people, I imagine that's an easy decision to make. Intel has historically put out a quality product, so why should their newest top of the line CPU be any different? Ahhhh. But that's a topic for another day. Today's topic, on the other hand, is P4 motherboards. Specifically, motherboards from the fine folks over at MSI, and Asus. Two companies I'm sure you're familiar with, as they've both graced the pages of the [H]ard|OCP many times in the past. Today I'll be attempting to compare and contrast the virtues and performance of MSI's MS-850Pro, and Asus's P4T Pentium 4 motherboards. And hopefully when this is all said and done, we'll end up with a clear cut better board.
