As they say, a hot server is an unhappy server. Sharkrack have a pancake fan rig that replaces the top plate on a rack to move up to 600CFM, reducing the 'pooling' effect of hot air at the top of the chassis. "T2FT001 is a gray fan top panel for the TigerShark2 cabinet system. Rated at 120v, the T2FT001 will help cool systems inside the computer cabinet by exhausting hot air from the top of the T2. This will prevent servers inside the cabinet from re-drawing hot air through their cool-air intake valves, which could lead to thermal failure.
The fan-top utilizes 6 high quality fans and a ball bearing motor. This allows the unit to exhaust 600 cubic feet of hot air per minute. Redundant power inputs help ensure the unit remains online and functioning properly."
