Chaintech has been around for a while in the PC industry (since 1986), but has never been a name bandied about in the same league as say, Abit or Asus. Nevertheless, I can see for the past year or so, Chaintech (in my opinion) has released some really competetive products, ones that even my extreme geekiness can appreciate. :)
The first Chaintech mainboard that I have tested for TheTechzone however is this one, the 6VJD. Being one of the first released products based on the new Apollo Pro 266 chipset from VIA, how well has Chaintech done with it? Being the first out of the blocks sometimes isnt always best as we have seen in the past.
Before we come to any conclusions, let's begin by looking at the board itself.
