The focus of my ranting this afternoon is a stick of the "OCZ Performance Plus PC150 SDRAM", that has been happily plugging along in my gaming box for the last couple of weeks. Why so long? I happened to read an article on a site that mentioned he "tested a motherboard for 48 hours, sometimes 24 if he was in a hurry". That is the problem with Internet review a lot of the time, half-assed reviews from people that are in a hurry to get content on the site. I spend 24 hours just burning a component in, and that's before we start pounding on it and tweaking it. Anything less, and you rip off the guys that read your article. You guys are here because you are thinking about buying some memory, and you want my advice or opinion on this product. If I only tested it by running it through 3DMark 2000 once or twice, I cannot objectively say if it is worth a shit, right? Enough of my "Problems with the Internet" speech, let's switch back to the memory...
