The PC industry is in constant motion, ceaselessly pushing forward with new technologies and innovations. While the industry does not move as one, Intel has managed to keep some form of order, guiding much of the industry in the same direction, developing their products to work together as part of Intel platforms.
Intel uses their Developer Forums (IDF) as one of many methods to guide the PC industry behemoth, which in turn develops Intel platforms, which makes people want to buy products using Intel platforms, which ultimately means Intel sells more chips. Today, we're going to look at what is new and hot at the just passed Spring 2001 IDF.
