While solo gaming has its moments, there is just something about
group gaming that makes computer games much more fun. By group gaming, I am
of course talking about LAN parties (big or small). Logically, if you want
to build a system with the intentions of moving it around from LAN party to
LAN party, having that system be light weight is very beneficial. That
pretty much means building the system with a nice and light aluminum case.
However, a few common stigmas are associated with lightweight aluminum
cases; they usually have poor ventilation and/or lack convenient features
by having little to no tool-less designs. Looking to break those
stereotypes, Thermaltake has introduced the Matrix VX aluminum case and the
subject of this review.
