"Well I sat around a bit thinking about what makes up a superior mousing surface. Here's what I came up with; there needs to be as little friction as possible applied to the bottom of the mouse. It should slide across the surface making your mouse movements more precise, but at the same time applying friction to the mou se ball so that your movements are more accurate."
