Unfortunately, most consumer software architects seem to think that organization is a substitute for simplicity, while standardization can take the place of intuitiveness. It's obvious that an expert software developer or system administrator can and should have direct access the complex and unintuitive internal workings of software, but consumer software must be simple and intuitive if it is going to succeed with a broad audience."
