EPoX Intel i850 Motherboard for P4

Taiwan/Taipei/Mar. 18th 2001 - EPoX is going to introduce its first Pentium 4 motherboard based on Intel 850 chipset -EP-4T2A at CeBIT '01 in Hanover held on Mar. 22nd.
Intel 850 chipset is designed for Pentium 4 processors. It supports 400MHz system FSB (front side bus) for single processor configuration, and also doubles the length of the pipeline between the processor and the chipset to enable higher system performance. The Intel 850 platform offers significant gains in the performance PC market. EPoX EP-4T2A is built up with i850 chipset to support Intelr Pentium 4 Processor with FC-PGA socket 423 packing. It equips with four 184pin RIMM slots for PC600/PC800 RDRAM. The CNR interface supports multi-channel audio, V.90 analog modem, Home PNA, 10/100.
EP-4T2A is equipped with 5 PCI expansion slots, 1 4X AGP slot and one CNR slot. The on- board C-media audio chip delivers 4 channels of audio. It could be connected with up to 4 Ultra DMA-100 devices. The CPU Vcore and Clock can be adjusted. It also features with the other value added function such as the EPoX's exclusive functions: USDM (Unified System Diag nostic Manager), exclusive KBPO (Keyboard Power ON), and Hardware Monitoring, STR (Suspend To RAM) power saving Function and Wake-On-LAN Function. EPoX will first introduce EP-4T2A at CeBIT '01 by live demo. And the pilot run production will start from April.
