ECS or Elitegroup Computer Systems aren't all that well know in Australia, in fact I'm willing to bet a lot of you Aussie readers haven't even heard of ECS or if you have, you know very little about them and their products. Up until a few moths back I didn't know all that much about ECS as a company. I knew they manufactured mainboards but that was it, so I have decided to expand my knowledge of ECS with a quick look over of the company and what they have been up to over the last few years.
Elitegroup Computer Systems was established way back in May 1987. Their headquarters is located in Taiwan. ECS have now expanded their operations into North America, Europe, and Pacific Rim. During their first decade of operations ECS devoted themselves to researching, developing and producing mainboards. During the next decade and the current decade ECS will focus on producing high value computer products in addition to mainboards.
